Therapeutic Style
Hi, I’m Eva (E) Monxy - a certified & BACP registered Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, doing short and long term work with adult individuals and relationships, with particular focus on creating a LGBTQIA+ centred space. I am a Queer & Transgender therapist originally from East London (UK), and I now work online across the UK and internationally.
I work with my clients on issues like Anxiety, Depression, Self Esteem, Traumatic Experiences, Sex & Relationships, Family and Attachment Issues, Neurodivergence & Unmasking, Establishing & Managing Boundaries, Loneliness and Isolation, Addiction, feelings of Shame, Jealousy & Anger, Work-Related stress and issues from the past that are affecting you in the present.
My practice strives to be neurodivergent, sex, kink and fat positive, queer, trans and non-binary validating, anti-ableist, anti-racist, and allied with refugees, migrants, sex workers and those in open / poly relationships.
Integrative counselling draws on various therapeutic approaches and strategies in order to tailor the work to your individual needs. I aim to co-create a space with my clients that values autonomy, self-determination, and growth.
‘While trauma keeps us dumbfounded, the path out of it is paved with words, carefully assembled, piece by piece, until the whole story can be revealed’
